It’s time to take the plunge into all those 3d games that you have stacked up over the years. The Zalman 3D monitor doesn’t need specially written games to produce to the 3D effect and can work with any existing game. The monitor works by transposing two slightly different images on a screen at once. Filters in the front of the display and a lightweight pair of polarised glasses (not the tacky blue and red ones) makes sure that only one of the two different images is viewed by each eye. When you remove the glasses you get a great 2D 22 inch monitor with a 1000:1 Contrast ratio. At £390 it might just burn a hole in the pocket. [ via ] |

These cool sinks are studded with Swarovski crystals and are dressed in a royal porcelain coat. It took a little inspiration from his wife Toby, for Kirk Guthrie (who owns the Linkasink) to come with the concept of crystal coated porcelain items. The crystals come in a number of colors including pink, black, blue, turquoise and some sort of a prism of colors called aurora borealis. If the crystals aren't of the appealing kind to you then you can always settle for the pearls.
Depending on the design of the Swarovski Crystal Sinks that you have selected, you will have to spend anything between $1,900 and $12,200.

All the super rich geeks, watch out for this decked out 24 karat gold MacBook Air with a decorated version of the classic rainbow Apple. Folks at Computerchoppers are ready to entice their filthy rich clients with the shiny gold and colored sapphire. Maybe you find it a little flashy at first but you will definitely start loving it. There is no obvious change in the weight expect for few ounces here and there. Air is a standard 1.6ghz/2gb/80GB, with a 24-karat gold plating, polished exterior, and flat/crystallite interior. The price: $5000 USD. However you will have to chip in another 3000$ for the rainbow which is 14-karat gold with 3.8ctw sapphires. |

Aussie designer Craig Arnold makes these "Re:vision" cuff bracelets out of parts from old camera lenses, perfect for the fashionable photographer. They're AU $190 and up, which ain't cheap, but they look well made. Or if you're handy with a saw and grinder, you've got a fun new DIY idea.
